Mike Masi (Michael Masiello) was born in the Bronx, New York on May 6, 1991. Mike graduated with Bachelor of Science in Television and Radio.

For many years, he has helped spread awareness regarding the dangers of bullying, drugs and alcoholism through the non-profit move company, ‘Peers Influence Peers Partnership.’ He has voiced, acted, produced and distributed for ‘Through Their Eyes’ (2010), ‘Take It Or Leave It’ (2011), ‘Fine Lines’ (2012), ‘High School: A Survivor’s Manual’ (2013), and ‘Chasing Life’ (2017).

Through Peers Influence Peers Partnership, Michael has continued looking for ways to help others through media. To spread these kind of messages, Mike has produced two segments for ‘Erasing Hate’ (2013) and ‘Equality’ (2015) with Judy Shepard and Shane Bitney Crone. He was awarded the Bronze Telly Award for Chasing Life in 2017.

Michael’s coming out story was filmed in 2019 and was scheduled to release in 2020, titled ‘Born this Way.’ It originally did not premiere, due to the pandemic that affected the production and the release of all content for that year. The full documentary later premiered in June of 2023.

After a decade of volunteer work, Michael was hired as a booking production assistant at Cheddar news in 2022. He is currently booking guests at News 12 as an Associate Producer.
